ALL SORTS OF EPHEMERA
This non-linear narrative group exhibition is organized by 21 contemporary artists from RAC&UAL at The Koppel Project Hive in London.
Artists use all sorts of ephemera as the theme; apparent in a series of different art forms including video,, photography, painting, performance, etc., focusing on the challenges being faced during the current pandemic. Almost everyone has felt isolation, especially now that life is no longer led by faith, truth, and certainty. People engaged in artistic creation live in conflict and contradiction. Often working on things that others don't care about and without reward or praise. However, they follow their own heart and discard all their worries. Creating, exploring the inner self through unique artistic language, and drawing on strength from the work itself artists are able to transform difficulties into inspiration.
Life is short in ephemera, but art is a lasting movement.
That speckle of red on your hair is but a microcosm of the infinite possibility inside this space.
How can I truly appreciate each oeuvre?
When each of you has so much to offer, and yet, I feel like wherever I stare, I am a lost soul.
My understanding is relative to what I've seen, but nothing I have seen gives me an understanding.
The devil is in the detail, but you won't take the time
to look.
Or will you?
