TORIA LONDON™ is a jewellery brand focusing on embroidery. It was founded in London in 2022 by textiles artist Toria Ya Tuo.

Toria is an antique enthusiast and collector who appreciates the art of intricate craftsmanship. Some vintage jewellery comprises quality material and fine workmanship, but when it is damaged, dealers must compromise and sell it for less than a fair price. It is easier for people to accept old pieces, but it is difficult to accept when it is broken, even if they are finely made.

Toria has always felt pity for beautiful, but damaged, jewellery. When she picked up a stunning silver ring with a broken main stone, she envisioned her own embroidery in the centre, reinventing the ring in a different image.

Embroidery is one of the most exquisite traditional handicrafts in human history. Like precious metals and gemstones, it can also define the main body of a piece of jewellery. After remaking her first silver ring, Toria began collecting more pieces that could be combined with embroidery, and before she knew it, the prototype of a brand was born.

As vintage jewellery is being remade, the products combine aesthetic value and sustainability. Each piece is unique and non-replicable, which is also the most important selling point. When she brought only 5 pieces to a designer Pop-Up store, they all sold on the first day and she received orders for the next line of signature jewellery. With the satisfaction, support and encouragement of customers, the eponymous brand TORIA LONDON™ was officially registered.

There is no doubt that a brand will experience ups and downs in the early stages of development. The newly created brand, which was born in the ashes of the end of the epidemic, has also encountered challenging times. Like a beautiful but fragile flower, it is the support from customers helped it to bloom. The most sincere thanks to Rachel Yanszeyu, Nan and David Skier, Gulya, Jiamin Ye, your support makes TORIA LONDON™ thriving.
